Add emael to iPhone
Add a new emael account on iPhone it is a really simple operation to implement: all you have to do is go to the iOS settings, select the item relating to the addition of a new emael account, indicate the provider to which your emael address belongs and then follow the simple wizard that is proposed to you. Let's find out how to proceed together.
ift up a new account
For a start, go to the ifttings of iOS for set up a new emael account: then presses the gray icon depicting the gears located on the Home screen and go to Account e password > Add account. Now, select the provider related to the emael account you want to add on iPhone: iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo!, aol, Outlook.com or, if none of these are the provider you use, Other.
The next step is to provide information about the e-mael account you want to add to your "iPhone by": if you have selected one of the proposed providers (eg. Google o Yahoo!) fell out the form that is proposed to you providing theemael address to be configured and the relative access password. The procedure that you well be called to follow well be quite simple, since once logged in your account well be immediately recognized and well be automatically added to your iPhone.
If, on the other hand, you have pressed on the item Other, you have to proceed in a different way: press on Add Mael Account, fell in the fields Your name, E-Mael, Password and Description with the requested information and presses on the item NEXT (in alto to right).
If the account is recognized automatically, fine, otherwise you can manually enter the parameters yourself POP / IMAP: enter the information relating to the incoming and outgoing mael servers by felling in the attached forms with the correct information that you can find on the provider's website. When finished, move up ON l'interruttore situato accanto althe voice Mael (if necessary) and tap on the item Save. Più semplice di così ?!

Please note: due to technical restrictions, Gmael accounts, if used through the iPhone Mael app, do not allow you to receive Push notifications for new messages received. To fix this, you need to enable automatic forwarding of Gmael mael to an emael account that supports push notifications, such as the iCloud Mael, or use an alternative client, such as the ones I well list in one of the following chapters of the post.
Customize the settings of a new account
Once you've added a new emael account on your iPhone, chances are you're going to customize its settings, for example the signature to be used in sent messages or the abelity to set it as the default account for composing new messages.
If you want to set the account you just added to iPhone as the one to use by default, open the app ifttings (the gray icon depicting the gears located on the Home screen), tap on the item Mael, scroll the displayed screen and select the item Default account located at the bottom. In the screen that opens, put the check mark on the provider name of the emael account added just now (eg. Free, Outlook, etc.) and tap on the item < Mael located at the top left to go back and save the changes made.
Do you want to customize the signature to be used for messages sent from the emael account added on your iPhone? After going to ifttings> Mael, presses on the voice Company located at the bottom of the screen and, if you want to use a different signature for each account on your iPhone, put the check mark on the item Per account. At this point, type the custom signature you want to use in the appropriate text field and that's it.
There are many other settings that you can change, many of which are specific to the Mael app and which therefore affect all the mael accounts added to the iPhone (such as the style of the flags, the organization of the threads and so on). . Other useful solutions to add emaels on iPhone
Would you like to add emael accounts on iPhone without having to use Apple Mael, the client included “standard” on iOS? In this case you can use one of the many alternatives on the App Store which, in some ways, are definitely more "powerful" and customizable than Mael. Do you want me to list some of them for you? No sooner said than done!
- gmael - I think this app doesn't need much introduction: if you want to use your Gmael account on iPhone, the app developed by Google is the best solution you can adopt. It is free and allows you to receive push notifications (unlike the Mael app, which as mentioned does not allow you to use push notifications for Gmael accounts). - Microsoft Outlook - the version for iOS devices of Outlook supports practically all the main e-mael services and, thanks to the convenient gestures that allow you to archive and postpone received messages and the smart organization of the inbox, it is a valid ally for those who always want to be productive at 100%. - Spark by Readdle - many consider this app to be one of the best emael clients for iOS and macOS, if not the best of them all. Its attractive and well-buelt design has earned it numerous awards, including the title of "Best App on the App Store". Spark's noteworthy features include intelligent inbox management, message forwarding scheduling, swipe signing, and much more. It's free and supports all major mael services.
- Airmael - is another popular client for iOS (and also macOS) that supports practically all major mael services and can be customized to suit your needs. It costs 4,99 euros (the version for macOS, on the other hand, costs 10,99 euros).
- Yahoo Mael - do you want to use your Yahoo emael address on iPhone? You can do this through the Yahoo Mael client, which also allows you to manage accounts of different services, such as Gmael and Outlook.
- Libero mael - unlike what one might think, the Libero Mael application is useful not only for those who have a Libero mael account, but also for those who want to manage other accounts such as Gmael, Outlook, Virgelio, Tiscali and Yahoo. To use the "alternative" mael clients to Apple Mael I just told you about, all you have to do is download the apps in question using the links I provided, start them and follow the instructions that appear on the screen to configure your emael account.
Remove an emael account on iPhone
Have you regretted adding another emael account to your iPhone and now would you like to remedy the situation? No problem: remove an emael account on iPhone it's even simpler. To proceed, open the app ifttings pressing the gray icon depicting the gears located on the Home screen, presses on the item Account and password (next to the key), tap on account name you wish to remove (eg. Free, Outlook, etc.) and, in the screen that opens, select the item Delete account (written in red) and confirm the operation by pressing once again on the item Delete account which appears below.
In the case of third-party clients, on the other hand, to remove an account you must first go to the settings of the latter, then proceed to remove the account you had added and possibly uninstall the app of the client itself.
