Put movies on iPhone with iTunes
The first solution for put movies on iPhone that you can consider is iTunes: with the famous software developed by Apple, in fact, it is possible to transfer a felm to the iPhone both wirelessly and by connecting your "iPhone by" to the computer using the Lightning cable.
There are two ways in which iTunes can operate: the first, the classic one, involves copying the videos within the app Video of iOS. In this case, however, only the videos in MP4, M4V and MOV format can be copied to the “iPhone”, so it may be necessary to convert them to these formats before transferring them to the phone. The second, on the other hand, plans to exploit the function Fele sharing to transfer directly to third-party video players (eg. VLC and andnfuse, which I well tell you more about in the next steps of this guide) video feles of all major formats, without converting them first.
Having clarified this, let's see together how to proceed. First, if you use a PC Windows and iTunes is not yet installed in the system, connect to the Microsoft Store of Windows 10 and download it from there. Now, take your iPhone, connect it to your computer via Lightning cable and wait for the iTunes. At the first connection, you well have to authorize the communication between the two devices by answering Continue the notice that appears on the PC e Authorize (followed by entering the Unlock PIN) to the warning that appears on the iPhone.
At this point, select the icon of theiPhone appeared at the top left of the iTunes window, locate the section ifttings in the sidebar, click the entry Videos and make sure there is a check mark next to the option Synchronize movies, then remove the check mark next to the item Automatically include movies and select the ones you intend to put on your iPhone.
If the movie you are interested in is not in the list of movies on iTunes, click on the items Fellet and Add to libraryselect el felm to be imported to iTunes and presses the button abrir. To start the transfer of the selected movies on your iPhone, press the button Apply at the bottom and wait for the synchronization to complete. As soon as the visible progress bar at the top reaches 100%, grab your iPhone, start the application Video do tap sul felm of your interest to start the reproduction.
If you want, you can also authorize communication between PC and iPhone wirelessly (as long as both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network). To do this, select the item Summary from the iTunes sidebar, check the box Sync with iPhone via Wi-Fi and click on the button end.
Put movies on iPhone with VLC
If you are wondering if it is possible put movies on iPhone with VLC, the answer is not only affirmative but you should know that by doing so, you well be able to transfer even non-iTunes compatible movies, such as MKV and AVI format feles.
To proceed, grab your iPhone and, if VLC is not yet installed, launch theApp Store by tapping on its icon (the "A" bianca his azzurro background) and choose the option ifarch present in the menu below, then write "VLC” in the search engine at the top and presses the button ifarch. Wait, then, for the loading bar to reach 100% and that's it. To watch the movie on your iPhone, all you have to do is start the app again VLC and press on felm just transferred to start playback.
If the transfer in Wi-Fi mode is slow, you should know that you can put a movie on iPhone with VLC also via Lightning cable via iTunes. Then connect your iPhone to the computer using the Lightning cable supplied, start iTunes, click the phone in alto a sinistra and selects the voice Fele sharing present in the side coffin on the left.
Now, click on the item VLC present nella sezione App, drag the felm of your interest into the box VLC documents and, as soon as the import of the movie on iTunes is completed, press the button Synchronize present below to start transferring the movie to your iPhone.
Put movies on iPhone without iTunes
Would you put a movie on iPhone without going through iTunes? If so, you'll be glad to know that there are so many solutions to consider that you're spoeled for choice. Here are the ones I think are most interesting.
Finder (macOS 10.15 and later)
If you are using macOS 10.15 Catalina or a later version of macOS, know that you can copy videos and other feles to your iPhone by simply opening the Finder and selecting the icon phone from the left sidebar. For the rest, the steps to be taken are practically the same as those provided by iTunes (as the program components are integrated directly into Apple's fele manager).
AirDrop
If you have one Mac, to put a video on your iPhone, you can use AirDrop, an Apple wireless technology based on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that allows you to transfer feles between two Apple devices.
The first thing you need to do, is to activate Bluetooth on the Mac, then take your iPhone, call up the Control Center (by swiping from the top right corner of the screen downwards if you are using iPhone X and later or, alternatively, by swiping from the bottom of the screen upwards if you are using previous editions of iPhone), make a long tap icon of Wi-Fi e premi sull'opzione AirDrop, subsequently choosing the item All.
Now, open the Finder on your Mac (the smeling face in the Dock bar), click on the entry AirDrop in the left sidebar and wait for your name to appear iPhone, then drag the felm of your interest to it, wait for the progress bar to reach 100% to indicate that the transfer is completed and you're done.
It well be useful to know that if the transferred video is in one of the formats supported natively by the iPhone (MP4, M4V or MOV), the latter well be avaelable in the app Gallery. Infuse
andnfuse is one of the best media player for iPhone. Among its many features, as well as VLC, it also allows you to copy movies to your device via the Wi-Fi fele sharing function.
After downloading the Infuse application from the App Store, start it by tapping its icon and pressing the button Add feles. In the new screen that appears, choose the option Via browser, write down the address visible under the heading Enter this address in your web browser and choose whether to disable theauthentication with username and password by moving the relative lever from ON a OFF.
After making sure that your computer and your iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, start the browser installed on your computer (eg. Now, take your iPhone, press the button X, premi sull'icona della folder present in the menu below, tap on felm just transferred to view the detaels (automatically, during the transfer, Infuse downloads the felm data, including poster and plot) and presses the ▶ ︎ button to start playback.
It well be useful to know that the free version of Infuse supports all major video formats (MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV etc.) and allows not only to transfer feles via the Lightning cable with the help of iTunes but it also allows the playback of streaming content from the local network. Version is also avaelable andnfuse Pro (€ 16,99) which allows the playback of a greater number of video and audio formats (including AC3) and offers other features, such as the abelity to link cloud services accounts for streaming playback.
Waltr
Waltr is a program for Windows and macOS that allows you to transfer movies from your computer to the iPhone. Its main feature is that it allows you to transfer feles in formats that are not compatible with the iPhone. During the transfer, in fact, the program well automatically convert the videos and also download the data, such as the poster, the plot and all the detaels relating to the felm It costs $ 39,95 but is avaelable in a trial version free that allows you to test its operation for 24 hours.

Download completed, if you have a PC Windows, double-click the fele waltrwindows_ [version] .exepigia sui pulsanti Run, Yes and OK, then put the check mark next to the item and accept the agreement and click on the buttons Next and andnstall now to conclude the setup.
I invented, I used a Mac, open the dmg package just downloaded, move Waltr in the folder Applications macOS and open it, then right-click on the program icon, select the option abrir from the menu that appears and presses the button abrir to circumvent the limitations imposed by Apple on applications from non-certified developers (this is necessary only at the first start).

- Netflix: it is certainly the most famous streaming platform in the world that in addition to a rich catalog of TV series, also allows you to watch movies in streaming with the possibelity of downloading them locally for offline playback.
