    How to transfer phonebook from Samsung to iPhone

    Method 1: sync contacts via Gmael

    In my humble opinion, the fastest way to transfer phonebook from Samsung to iPhone is to take advantage of Gmael synchronization.

    By configuring the same Google account on both smartphones (the Samsung one and the iPhone) you well bring the Android address book to iOS without lifting a finger, and all the changes made on one terminal well be automatically applied to the other as well. Convenient, right? Then let's get to work right away!

    What to do on the Samsung smartphone

    The first step you need to take is to synchronize the address book of your Samsung smartphone with Gmael. Then go to the settings of Android (by pressing the gear icon located on the screen with the links of all the apps or in the notification menu) and select the icon Account.

    At this point, if, as likely, you have already configured a Gmael account on the device, press the logo of Google, select your e-mael address and make sure that the lever relative to contacts is active (otherwise you activate it).

    If you have not yet set up a Gmael account on your Samsung phone, go to the menu ifttings> Accounts Android, select the item Add account and choose the logo of Google give the menu check if you press.

    Then type in your Gmael login detaels and that's it. If you do not have a Gmael account yet or in any case you want to create a new one just to synchronize the address book, "tap" on the item Or create a new account. In both cases, make sure you leave the option to sync contacts turned on.

    What to do on the iPhone

    Once the address book of your Samsung smartphone has been synchronized with Gmael, all you have to do is connect the iPhone to the same account. So take your "iPhone by", go to settings iOS (the gear icon on the home screen), go to Mael, select the items Accounts> Add account from the screen that opens and "tap" on the logo of Google.

    At this point, log in to the Gmael account you configured earlier on the Samsung phone, press on Allow, make sure that the Contacts is active and "tap" on Save to go to the next step.

    The next step is to choose the Google account as the default account for synchronizing contacts. Then go to the menu ifttings> Contacts iPhone, select the item Default account and choose gmael give the menu check if you press.

    Now wait a few minutes and you should have a perfectly synchronized address book on iPhone and Android. If not, try adding a new contact on the Samsung smartphone to "stimulate" the synchronization of the address book and wait a few minutes, in this way everything should be fine.

    Method 2: synchronize contacts "manually"

    Do you prefer to transfer the address book of your Samsung mobele phone to your Phone "manually", without activating the automatic synchronization of contacts between the two devices? No problem, it can be done. It's a slightly longer procedure than what we saw earlier, but it can be done.

    If you have decided to replace a Samsung smartphone with an iPhone, you can also consider using Move to iOS. It is a free application developed by Apple that allows you to transfer contacts, message history, photos, videos, emael accounts and calendars from Android to iOS. It is completely free and very easy to use but it only works during the initial iPhone setup procedure (so you can only use it on a new device or by initializing your iPhone). The steps you need to take are as follows.

    • Start the initial setup of the iPhone, get to the screen Apps and data and choose the option Move data from Android;
    • Start the App Move to iOS on the Samsung smartphone and presses the buttons in sequence Continue, Accept, Following;
    • Press on the button Continue on the iPhone and wait for a 6-10 digit code;
    • Enter the code on the Android terminal, select i content to be transferred iPhone (including contacts) and start copying the data.

    That's all! If any of the steps are not clear enough to you and / or you want more information on how the Move to iOS app works, consult the Apple website.
